Would really like to go to Costco but don’t work in any of the qualifying professions and don’t know anyone who has a card so that’s not an option, we don’t live near one so I don’t know anyone who has a card or wants one but I’m happy to travel to one! Is there any way round it?

My sons football team needed someone to take the subs so I set up an account for that in the name of the football club really easily through my bank - just applied online as a society and it gives you a business account. I used that to join Costco - got trade membership just by having a business debit card and a cheque book! Open up an account as lilbus afc and you're off!

(But others are right - it's not that cheap, but novelty factor is fun and there are some good quality reasonable things - the macarons and the creme brûlées are dangerously good and rotisserie chickens are compulsory. Their meat is really good too)

Sorry - realised I've already posted on this thread with football team trick. I'm looking at "threads I'm on" but thought I was in trending 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Do you know anyone with a blue light card? We get our membership for £36 and get a £20 voucher, I've taken friends there when they want to get things, usually catering for a party. It's worth it for us for the petrol, it's 10p a litre cheaper than anywhere else
