Cuckoochanel80 · 17/02/2024 02:30

Michael Hutchence 80s/early 90s
young Rik Mayall
Martin Shaw in The Professionals
Being greedy but 80s Terence Trent D'arby has to be a bonus addition

No one current immediately comes to mind

louderthan · 17/02/2024 02:36

Rafe Spall
Tom Rosenthal
Adrien Brody

It's clear that I've got a type...

louderthan · 17/02/2024 02:38

Also Tom Holland (bit too young though!)

Thin lips, clean shaven, nice hair, big-ish nose. That's my type.

dontmakeitaweproblem · 17/02/2024 03:58

Kieran trippier (Newcastle player)
Danny odonoghue
Fabian schar (Newcastle player)

asdunno · 17/02/2024 07:09

Jared Leto (preferably in the nineties)

Frangipaniblue.....i tried to watch the film but its absolutely shite 😂😂😂 not one of his best adaptations in my humble opinion. The story was all over the place, I kept thinking that didn't happen there 😂😂😂😂😂😂 gave up after half an hour 😂😂😂😂

Globules · 17/02/2024 08:10

I'm having to Google a few of these names and now needing to reconsider my own list.

A tip for SK movies - if it says "based on the book by...." it usually means loosely based on and he hasn't had a hand in the screenplay, basically just sold the rights, so those are usually shit!

The ones where he has had direct involvement usually say "screenplay by SK....." or "screenplay edited by SK....."

You know those will be good and closer to the book - he also sometimes does a cameo in these ones too

Henry Cavill, Theo James, Adan Canto.

Excellent list. Still Richard Madden for me, but if he didn't exist, I would consider yours!

blackoverbillsmothers · 17/02/2024 01:08

Bryan Ferry - always been top of my list.
James Norton
Martin Kemp

Those three are absolutely excellent choices!
Bryan Ferry is especially 🤩

Donoteven · 17/02/2024 16:26

MariaLuna · 17/02/2024 02:25

Liam Neeson??

He comes up the road from where I lived. Nah.

Glad he made good in Hollywood though, and so sad about what happened to his wife.

My mum knew his aunts, dead proud they were. As they should be. enough shit out of Northern Ireland through the years

Well the popular Jamie Dornan comes from Northern Ireland!

Elvis in black leather 1969

Elvis in army uniform 1960

Elvis in gold lame 1957

I like Elvis

MarkWithaC · 18/02/2024 15:57

Fedupwitheveryone · 16/02/2024 19:11

Late 90s Jude Law
Mr Big when SATC first started
Don Draper

worrying that mine are either fictional or long gone - so for present day i'll throw in (the recently single) James Norton :-)

Is he now?!?

Well, obviously being engaged was the only thing stopping him before, so James – come on down!

Also: Mika is a bit pretty-boy for me, BUT I did think it was quite hot when he talked so knowledgeably about music in The Piano, so Mika you'll be pleased to hear that as of now you may be on my reserve list.

YouCantBeSadHoldingACupcake · 18/02/2024 16:27

Jensen Ackles
Daniel Gillies
Joe Manganiello

Sharpe 😍😍

TheHorneSection · 18/02/2024 19:29

I used to love how they ended every episode of Sharpe with a shot of his arse in tight trousers walking up a hill

BlueAndPinkHairDontCare · 18/02/2024 20:16

I'll tell you what. Steve carell is quite handsome these days, age suits him
