Is anyone interested in starting a thread to write down their small appreciations for each day?
I've been suffering with low mood lately and focusing on all the bad things in my life.
Instead of my usual self-pity-get-nothing-done routine, I'm going to be more productive in the hope that by the end of today, I'll have something positive to say no matter how small.

Good morning @Lurkingandlearning, hope you feel better soon 🤞
I'm happy this morning because my migraine is gone, was very sick with one yesterday but even when I was sick my 2 gorgeous doggies stayed on my bed and looked after me which was lovely 😊

Good idea for a thread.

My 4yo has slept in so have a cup of coffee in silence. Its 6.50 and he's usually up at 6.

Thanks for the thread.
I'm 2 pounds down today, so at GW.
Dh and I are off to see ABBA Voyage tonight in London , meeting DD 26 there.
Meeting DS 24 tomorrow with her for lunch, going to see my sister, BIL, Dneice and Dnephew after, then off to see my fit and well 93 year old mother, all in london.Day to ourselves there on Tuesday then back to Dorset.
Looking forward to seeing my family.

What a lovely idea for a thread! I'm currently in work for day six, but it's overtime, so extra padding in the pay packet! And an earlier finish 🤞 Anything else I can get done at home later will be a bonus!

Iv been in bed all week with horrible nasty flu felt like it is never ending - this morning is the first day my temperature is normal! 🎉 I still feel rough but it’s definitely finally lifting. Have a lovely weekend everyone xx

Morning all. I had a real lazy day yesterday but managed to cook a lovely meal and get everyone round the table to eat, then we all watched a film cuddled up on the sofa under blankets so that was nice.
I slept through until 6:30 this morning and haven't woke up full of dread so yay for that.

Got to watch the sun rise this morning with a nice freshly ground coffee. (Been on instant for a while since I just couldn't be arsed)

Hope you all have a great day x

Oh and I've started on a book I've been meaning to read for ages.
I forgot how much I love to read

Lol @Fuckthemall I was just coming back on to say I had a McDonald's breakfast (never had one before) and it was so good.

I was up early enough to have a coffee in a bath with a book for an hour before anyone else needed to be up

We recently got a 20 year old rescue cat from a cat rescue centre.

Today we bought her a purple rabbit toy filled with catnip. She spent some time tossing it into the air and hunting it like a kitten and is now asleep using it as a pillow.

Travelled for work meeting yesterday and found that they had actually booked a nice hotel for us all, with Hypnos beds, power shower, a huge room, and an amazing breakfast buffet. Let out a huge sigh of contentment this morning, having slept so so well. (Last meeting the place was awful, no window, worst bed ever 😆)
