£10 per game 😱

I used to league bowl many years ago and I paid less than that for 3 games and prize fund!!!

Trulywonderful · 02/01/2024 15:53

If anyone is in Essex this one is £5 a game

I am in London but sometimes pop in the car to Romford because there is a shop I need to use thereRomford bowling

£6 per person per game, plus a £1 booking fee for online so £25 for two adults and two children. Or I can do a 2 game ‘deal’ for £61 🤷🏻‍♀️

Spaghettieis · 02/01/2024 16:19

For a family of 5 at my nearest Hollywood Bowl it says £31.29 for one game which I don’t think is too bad, £6ish each? At the closer, independent one it’s £10 adults and £7 kids

LubaLuca · 02/01/2024 16:23

£3 a game, £5 for two games, or £7 for three games. I had to look it up, I had no idea, but I know my kids go fairly often so it couldn't have been expensive.

Velmasglasses · 02/01/2024 16:28

Hollywood Bowl has a school holiday offer on. 25% off if you bowl before 11am. The code is FESTIVE25.
We went today but after 11am and it was £22 for one fame for 2 adults and one child.

idontlikealdi · 02/01/2024 16:34

£10 per adult and £8 per child per game.

idontlikealdi · 02/01/2024 16:34

Meant to add ours is in the local leisure centre, if you're a member it's discounted but it's not a cheap activity

whatausername · 02/01/2024 16:53

1 game £5.55/£6.55
2 games £8.32/£9.82
3 games £10.99/£12.97
Burger, drink & 1 game £7.50/£10.50

All off-peak.

Job prospects around here are shit though and hobbies/extra-curricular activities are relatively limited imo.

sockarefootwear · 02/01/2024 17:03

There's a Superbowl bowling alley near us. They have quite a lot of off-peak offers, including £2.50 per person for a game on Sundays from 7pm. If anyone reading is considering going you need to be aware that you only get any of the special offer deals if you go through the special offer section of the website when booking. If you just select the time on the normal booking section you'll be charged full price even though the time would qualify for the offer

Bpickle1 · 02/01/2024 17:13

On a Thursday after 6pm £10 per person for 2 games and an alcoholic drink or alternatively a burger meal if you're kids or don't want a drink - quite good value - price per hour is a rip off

ChilledToTheBone · 02/01/2024 17:38

2 local one is £10 for 2.games, the other is £5 for 2 games.
