I understand the theory is that Starmer would not be upset if there were no debates, because he has little to gain from them given his current poll lead - a strong performance is unlikely to increase his lead.

However he understands they are likely to happen and is fine to do them.

It is not the case he is scared to have them.

Walloped? Oh well, hopefully they will be. No idea how that got in there, it'll have to do. Apologies.

There are so many things that need talking about:

Housing
NHS waiting lists
Dental Care
Social care - especially the ageing population
Education - and a lack of teachers
The demise of the high street
Levelling up - and sharing wealth across the UK

This is what should be being talked about - but the media seem to be very focussed on certain subjects.

If Starmer can really put an end to all this culture wars confected garbage , I salute him. He's right : it's exhausting.

Yes of course, the women's rights. It's so bloody transparent that I barely consider it. How are all those sexual offenders in HoC progressing? The ones we know about, of course, who have a particular interest in knowing what a woman is. The party for women's interests. I find it bizarre that some people seem to believe it, or are heavily invested in attempting to convince women that it's true.

I noticed that certain posters are caught out by Starmer confirming that single sex spaces are safe, there goes that argument and the non existing policy

I would advise against, it appears all Cleverley's fans are out.

I had a look at that thread, but given who the OP was I decided to steer clear. To be fair though the initial number of people who wanted boring grown up politics was somewhat encouraging.

Yep. The ones who know what women are and think we should STFU, stay home, have babies and care for the elderly. And not complain about the fact rape is decriminalised and we can be abused with impunity.

Women are the ones who can have a bum and boobs or an opinion but not both, right?
