Mine hasn’t been seen since he decided not to stand at the next election.

This should strictly speaking be on the Covid board but since it’s due to government incompetence and Tories not caring about people dying I’m going to leave it here.

As someone who is in a vulnerable group who was vaccinated with last years stock when they brought the vax program forward in September I would very much like to know why they are sitting on what could be up to 11million updated vaccines with no sign they are willing to give them.

I’m also a bit bemused as to why you would buy vaccines for a group (50-64 year olds) if the decision you have made is it isn’t cost effective to vaccinate them. Surely once you’ve brought the vaccines the most cost effective decision is to give them.

Not covid or government related but ds and I returned to the U.K. when he was 22 months.

Registered with local GP and they accidentally put his year of birth as that year.

Got invited for a vaccination for ds.

Turns out it was a meningitis but he was meant to be in the 2+ programme which hadn't started then.

So rather than give it to ds as already opened they actually binned it and 4 months later invited him back for exactly the same one as part of rolling it out to over 2's.

He's now 19 and I'm still flabbergasted by the waste in a ever struggling nhs.

Last letter I had from my MP was a response to my complaint about Johnson's remarks about KS 'failing to prosecute' Savile. He practically agreed with me and I felt moderately sorry for him. Not sorry enough to vote for him though. He's got a majority of around 900 - reduced from 20,000+ in 2019 - and we will be waving him goodbye no matter how many letters Sunak sends. Can't come soon enough.

Xmas Confused They keep setting the record straight!

The record will insist on going wonky again after they’ve straightened it.

For the sake of our sanity, our standing in the world, and reasonableness, don't forget that this year, above all else, GTTO. Peoples lives depend on it.

Indeed. And as we say goodbye to 2023, here is a calendar of all the corruption, cruelty and sleaze.
Not that we need reminding really... but maybe a waverer or two might click and watch it. I will do anything to draw attention to what we have endured. And some I had forgotten.

watching the London fireworks last night it really hit me how little we have to celebrate from the past year. There was much made of significant anniversaries for other things but not a fat lot to look back at 2023 and feel good about.

DuncinToffee · 01/01/2024 13:34

I had to google GTTO Blush

Sunak's tweet of today is celebrating that from today, the majority of foreign university students cannot bring family members to the UK,

I think I am going to add a F to GTTO

Rishi has had a couple of meetings with Satan's disciple Dominic Cummings? Politics and bedfellows springs to mind.

RafaistheKingofClay · 01/01/2024 14:29

I’m fascinated by Rishi’s Twitter. It’s amazing how tone deaf one can be.

The new year one about how they are going to keep on moving forwards with stopping the boats and reducing waiting lists was bizarre. And I thought they’d moved on to saying they never said they were going to stop the boats.

Same thought struck me.
Happy new year everyone 🥂🎉 let’s hope 2024 is election year.
I have a Labour MP constituency has been Labour since Noah was a boy but it’s being redrawn & I will move into true blue territory the present incumbent has been found guilty of racism he isn’t standing again apparently no information on who will be the new candidate, the Labour candidate is excellent is already campaigning hard really hope he is successful.
