Does anyone send Christmas cards still?

Every year I resolve to stop then someone sends me one and I worry about offending them if I don’t reciprocate. It’s a faff and expensive to buy a stamp when I’m in touch with anyone I might want to wish a Happy Christmas to on social media. But every year I crumble just prolonging the process … do you send Xmas cards? Even a few? Or is it an old tradition that genuinely is dying out? Not sure how to play it this year …

I find this such an odd question. A look inside shops at Christmas would tell you that people still send cards.

I don’t send them either. They’re expensive and end up in the recycle bin

Yes but much less than I used to, probably about 10 in the post. Then a few more locally hand delivered.

I give 'special' cards to my mum, nan and my siblings+families - the ones you buy individually, not boxed. I only send 3 boxed cards.

I send very few. Just to family and a few old friends, some of whom I still see and others with whom a Christmas card is our only contact.

Yes and I take our DC to the postbox on the 1st December to post- a little family tradition. Not bothered if I don't receive any back! Also the DC write thank you cards for their gifts and they are sent after Christmas!

Yes, but fewer each year. Just hit the last day for second-class, but I know those that receive the cards will appreciate them and a way of keeping in touch with relatives.
