Skipping ahead and stuck on day 7. Any clues? Figure it's to do with MLK's speech but at which point do I start. Can't make it make sense

Entire family is stuck on day five. Pretty sure we figured out what we’re supposed to be counting but cannot get the right numbers. Are we missing a trick?

You need to put the first part of his speech in the crossword

There is a pat grid hidden on the microphone if you need a clue

Did you count each line as being between two dots and not just what appears to be a continuous line? This is what caught me out on first count.

It's not the part of the speech you would think it is. Did you spot the PAT code?

Got my copy today and I'm all caught up - looking through I have no idea how to even start some of them. Enjoying the chat on here though.

I'm stuck on 8 if anyone can help. Have PAT clue and worked out what I'm doing. Can only think I have misidentified the animals! I went for a Horse and a rabbit, then tried dog and rabbit but can't get the sum of the two to work. Have converted to same format as the human. Nothing working and I'm sure I have numbers right.

I think it means length in inches. Count the increments, add together and convert to binary. That then gives you another question to get another answer for later. I can't get day 12 so now up to day 16 origami lesson

If you fold the right black line in half and meet it up with the halfway point of the other black line you should get a set of coordinates.

Yes. First I wrote the answer to PAT grid…Wrong
Then I solved the coded message on the next page… I wrote each part of the message and each of them was given a Wrong response. I wrote the artist, next I wrote the artwork, then I wrote the place name. All wrong.

Yes, I can do that and get the answers but when I enter them I’m given a Wrong response.

i took a guess but was wrong and given a hint that it is in a big cold country so I tried Russia.
