I haven't seen a thread on this yet, so here's a thread to share hints for the Hidden Books Game this year:

got it!! i was thinking about another book with two words in the title

km21 · 16/11/2023 16:02

Bin is driving me mad. I’ve googled all the combos of earth rubbish waste etc and coming up empty. It’s my last one too

InglouriousBasterd · 16/11/2023 16:02

Finally got the lion by putting ‘beauty’ into Waterstones search!! I would never have guessed that!

Hello,

read all the comments and still stuck on

bestsellers

romance
and bin

literally been playing for hours

geesummer · 16/11/2023 16:03

it really stumped me! think of another type of writing other than fiction books.

Elastica23 · 16/11/2023 16:05

Really annoying that the bestseller one isn't The Last Devil to Die, I really thought I had it.

InMySpareTime · 16/11/2023 16:06

@km21 it's a poem rather than a book per se.
Three word title.
1 filler word
2 What general thing goes in a bin?
3 what's green and pleasant?

OP posts:
StElwicks · 16/11/2023 16:07

I am stumped on the fighting rabbit and Monkey and the open door. I just cannot see them argh!

InMySpareTime · 16/11/2023 16:08

@StElwicks it's not the door, it's the sign and what it's made from

OP posts:
Christmaschoclover · 16/11/2023 16:08

Got it! So cross with myself.

InglouriousBasterd · 16/11/2023 16:08

What’s on the floor by the open door? Ignore the door itself!

Ah, done. would never have got that one, it's dreadful!

StElwicks · 16/11/2023 16:12

I keep thinking I have it and put in my answer and it’s not right. So infuriating

StElwicks · 16/11/2023 16:14

Got it - just the rabbit and monkey to go!

SkyesMama · 16/11/2023 16:15

StElwicks · 16/11/2023 16:14

Got it - just the rabbit and monkey to go!

What's another word for rabbit, if you were speaking to a kid? And how would they write it if they were going to wrestle each other?

SkyesMama · 16/11/2023 16:16

Elastica23 · 16/11/2023 16:05

Really annoying that the bestseller one isn't The Last Devil to Die, I really thought I had it.

It's two words you're looking for. Synonyms for all 3 books - the last two books make up the second word.

Paperlilies · 16/11/2023 16:22

a colloquial term for a young rabbit

PowerhousePatty · 16/11/2023 16:27

The bin and the natural history ones have me stumped. I don’t have kids yet so don’t have a clue about children’s books.

Paperlilies · 16/11/2023 16:27

Help with romance and bin please?

so stuck even with all your brilliant clues

abigu · 16/11/2023 16:31

Hey, is there any chance of some clues for the morris dancer / paramedic one? And the Annie’s staff picks - I’ve tried every synonym I can think of!
much appreciated 🥰

InMySpareTime · 16/11/2023 16:33

@abigu who is being treated (in terms of nationality and how the medic would describe them)?
Annie is a Number One Fan

@Paperlilies so you've got fantasy in monochrome, but...

OP posts:
Paperlilies · 16/11/2023 16:37

Thanks @InMySpareTime just the bin to go!

PowerhousePatty · 16/11/2023 16:37

Annie - think of a synonym for all the other titles shown.

DragonBlaze · 16/11/2023 16:39

Hi, is there any chance of some clues for the revision guide one and the friends one?
