Outwith - we love using this one because it's just more meaningful that outside or beyond
Stramash - an uproar
Stooshie - an uproar similar to stramash but different
Crabbit - grumpy
Hoachin - very busy place
Bahookie - bum
Dreich - rainy, drizzly, grey, dreary weather
Coorie - a warm and cozy cuddle under a blanket
Fankled - tangled
Peely-wally - pale and unwell
Shoogle - shake
Mocket- dirty
Jobby -poo
Glaikit - stupid or foolish
Stookie- plaster cast on broken limb
Doolally - not the full shilling

Doolally is Army slang, from a base called Deolali, where soldiers often stayed for ages, waiting to be deployed. A combination of extreme heat and no diversions often led to them going mad.
