It may not seem like a lot for some people, but I’m just letting everyone know I have just purchased my very first brand new sofa for cash and it’s being delivered on Saturday!
Ive been a single mum for 13 years, moved into my first flat with two dc, two cots, one black bag full of clothes and a plastic cutlery set.
I’ve worked crappy pt jobs to make ends meet and at times have picked up furniture off the street.
In May this year I started a new ft job that pays very well and have been saving up for a sofa as the one I have was free off of fb marketplace, well yesterday I walked into a furniture shop after seeing the sofa I wanted months ago and paid full price in cash, no payment plans, nothing and I am beyond proud of myself.
So yes it may seem like an odd thing to post but after years of crap thrown at me I am feeling like I’ve just won the lottery.
