Please give me blind ideas for these bedroom windows

Looking for inspiration.

The top window opens and closes, I want something that will keep the bottom covered while still being able to open and close the top.

Was looking at the film you put over the glass to make it reflective, but not sure if I like the look.

Then I was looking at the shutters that click into the frame, but they’re bloody expensive.

I also like the idea of curtains, but again would like the bottom to be covered when they’re open in the day.

What would you get for this window?

You can get bottom up roller blinds which sound like they might be a good option. Or Cafe style curtain - literally a rod across the middle with a mini curtain hanging from it - can look a bit old fashioned but maybe not if you did it in a nice sheer linen rather than gingham!

I didn’t know bottom up roller blinds were a thing!

That might be the answer, thinking with some sort of curtain as well, to make it feel cosier inside.
