I think most of us do. I think mine came up before I started using it so I won’t ever get a one.

At the beginning I used to use a different word every day to make it more fun! But I've been playing for so long that it's hard to keep thinking of new words. Now I have a few "favourites" and occasionally use a completely fresh one.

I like to have a regular starter word. My first was train and that came up so I have a 1 in my stats. I've changed it a few times since.

Not too bad.

I always have the same starter word and a second starter word if the first one doesn't do much. My starter word was the Wordle word recently so I got it in 1. I still use it though. It's so ingrained I can't change it. 😄

I tend to use the same starter word even though I don't believe there's any advantage in doing so.

I do too. I think it helps because you automatically know what you have ruled out if you set it aside and come back

At line 3 and faced with several possibilities, I went for an elim word on line 4. Gave me the two letters I needed. Woohoo!

I don't have a set starter word. I tend to pick a word with low scrabble scoring letters that i dont think ive seen before and hope for the best!

Would be interesting to compare the stats on those who use the same word and those who don't.

I don't use a regular starter word and 4 is my leading number. I did use music a few times and then when it came up I totally failed to recognise it from the letters I had 🙈
