Cheshire oaks relaxing lunch where?

Upset to see Cafe Rouge has vanished. Cheshire oaks It promotes itself as a fast food venue it seems. So where can we go after two hours of shopping needing a break where we can relax with a nice meal and a glass of wine. Before we sally forth to do another couple of hours of shopping. We've always made a day of it because it's a long drive.

Mowgli for Indian! Or YoSushi is a nice vibe and something fun (it's not all fish if you don't like fish like me haha)

I can't eat indian but will look at yo sushi. Is it relaxing or do we have to eat and scarper?

This is about a 5 minute drive from Cheshire Oaks, so you'd have to drive and then re-park, but totally worth it and exactly what you're looking for.

Had a look at sushi. Honestly OH won't eat it. I think Cheshire want us to eat and run from the restaurant choices there are. Even airports have cosy corner places to rest and eat. Sigh ...

I've enjoyed eating at Comptoir Libanais and didn't find it too fast foody.

JessicaPeach · 11/09/2023 13:07

If you walk over the the colosseum there are loads of restaurants there. (You cross over by the Ralph Lauren shop and rather than go straight across to more shops you sort of bear right, follow it through and you'll come out by boots/Superdrug)

Miller and Carter? Or there’s Zizzis across the road

There’s loads on the colosseum side. Zizzi, Prezzo, miller and carter, las iguanas, Chiquitos….

Crabwoman · 11/09/2023 13:25

There's also an Ego just after the entrance to Cheshire Oaks.

Highly technical map here but you'll see when you get there! It's not as far as that makes it look, maybe 5mins

If you look that bit up on google maps you'll be able to see where I mean. That screenshot is terrible!

justasking111 · 11/09/2023 13:48

I'll have a go on Google maps. Ralph Lauren is on the way in?

Seconded. Love Brunning and Price pubs.

Daffodildilys · 11/09/2023 14:20

Two people have mentioned Rake Hall (Brunning and Price pub). It’s a lovely pub with good food.

Another vote for Comptoir Libanais if you want to stay onsite - we had a v nice lunch there the other week (not too busy either and staff are lovely). Definitely have beer and wine!
