Iron bed covers

Extremely boring I know , but do you iron your bed covers once you have washed them?

Sometimes I think why bother ,who sees them? And then I think I am being lazy 😂?

OP don’t you know Mumsnetters never ever iron anything, and anyone who does like ironing and freshly pressed clothes and sheets are total saddos.

I treated myself to really high thread count bedding when it was on sale and I had a Christmas voucher. I’ve always had cheapie bedding, and this was a revelation in luxury.

But unlike the cheapie stuff it wrinkles like mad, and it doesn’t feel the same if it’s not ironed. Which does not come naturally to me at all.

I don't own an iron so no! Got better things to do than iron. Don't care if that makes me sound slovenly 😂

Fastpress mine, bought specifically for doing the bedding, fabulous bit of kit.

God no. I would if we were selling the house and having photos taken, so it looked perfect though

Probably could get the same effect with a lot of starch. 😉

Though in this weather, I wouldn't mind a box of duvet around me not touching. 📦
