Will these trainers be acceptable for school?

I've purchased some trainers for my dc for secondary school. They are black Nike Air Force 1.
The school states that black trainers are acceptable with no logo or any colour.

When I originally read it, I took it as no coloured logos but now I'm worried if the Nike tick on it is unacceptable.

Has anyone else's dc wore these for school trainers and been ok?

The Nike tick logo is black so blends in which is why practically every Secondary school in the country allows these.

Not ours, they're trainers, our primary school would, but not secondary.

Black air force ones are what absolutely all the kids wear at ours. I would check with a current parent. They are leather and black so I can't see an issue

All the kids here wear them. They are "the" shoe it seems.
Black all over. Leather so you can polish them if they get scuffed and in this house a pair usually serves two kids as a hand me down before they wear out so win win.
(Although when my kids started they were £75 a pair new and I think they are now £109 approx) Confused
Still if they serve two kids it works.

There's no chance they'd be allowed at my DC's school - they have to wear school shoes & then black trainers for PE.

We're not interested in your school though only OP where black trainers are allowed

Our school specifically says no Nike Air Force trainers - but yours might be different. Ask? Or play it safe and buy some plain trainers?

Stressfordays · 29/08/2023 16:34

Not my kids school. He starts secondary next week and I've been told its detention for these types of shoes. They were exactly what I was going to buy him too. Ended up with ugly lace up shoes from Clarkes.

Thelonelygiraffe · 29/08/2023 16:34

But then, our school wouldn't let ds wear Clark's school shoes as they had the bumper at the front to protect shoes when playing football. Had to buy new shoes. Bloody peak.

Those would be fine at my son's school.

Check with the school
