Memorial Thread for the Victims of Lucy Letby

There's been a lot of discussion about the case today and I suspect a lot of it has been extremely distressing to all.

I'd like to start a memorial Thread to take a moment for the victims and their families. They are the most important people today and deserve our love and support.

Whatever your faith or beliefs, let's offer up our community support to the families of those tiny souls that were lost. May you forever be at peace. We wish healing and comfort to the parents and hope they find solace in the love you brought into their lives.

I'll never forget the babies lost in this awful story.

I don't think any words are sufficient but I'm sending out my love to the universe, in hope that it can embrace those tiny souls.

I feel helpless but to the parents of the babies, I send love and I hope that they can find their way to healing.

I don't often pray but I will tonight,for the babies and for their parents. X

I’ve been thinking of all of the babies and their families today. The victim impact statements were utterly harrowing. What LL did was unfathomably cruel and senseless.

I’ve not forgotten the families we couldn’t hear from today - because the jury were unable to reach a verdict for the charges relating to their babies. Sitting through that extremely long and distressing trial only to be left in legal limbo is almost unimaginable.

It’s particularly hard to think of what Baby K’s family must be going through. They have lost their baby girl, but the murder charge relating to her death was dropped and the jury could not return a verdict for the charge of attempted murder. I pray that Baby K’s family will eventually receive a verdict and some form of closure.

I am sooo sorry for the lives of these beautiful precious babies and families. I will never forget them or their parents, and can’t even fathom what the parents have been through 🌹❤️

I can't find the words to say how sorry I am for the loss of those beautiful, longed for babies and what their parents are going through now. All I can say is that I hope you find peace.

My husband came home today in tears after catching a news snippet on the way home (he's not a cryer). We have a young baby and we just cried together for what the victims have been through.

I think of the parents through the night when I'm up... The mums who never got to do this. I think of the beautiful little babies who never got to be.

You're so loved and our prayers are with each child and his or her family ❤️

My thoughts are with the parents, the babies and the children who survived but now have life altering disabilities.

I hope these families get all the support possible.
