And are treated by the NHS, what is your TSH and do you feel adequately medicated?
Just trying to summon up the energy to try and deal with a service that just don't seem to care 😭

I have to keep mine under 1 to feel ok. On what the GP will prescribe I still feel crap and gain weight so easily so I buy T3 from Turkey, where it is ridiculously cheap and OTC - around £1 for 100 tablets) and that works for me.
I take a lot of Vitamin D3 (and co factors which support each other)
I was B12 deficent. One dose every 3 months wasn't cutting it so I now buy from Germany and self inject (GP aware)

Free T4 - 19.6
TSH 14.4

On 150mcg Levo and feel like utter shit every single day. This has been ongoing for 6 years and no, I don't feel adequately medicated. I feel constantly fobbed off.

There's a really interesting thread here you might want to look at:

What is your free T3…if you’ve never had T3 tested then I urge you to get it done somehow, even if privately. You are likely not converting properly and you actually need a T3 med.

2.5 and no, I changed doctors as it was the last straw and they said 2.5 was "perfect"

My new GP talked about the importance of T3, medicating on symptoms and then increased my levo to 100mcg. He's also asked me to go for a huge amount of bloods including having my T3 tested which has never been done as he wants a baseline of all my results
Astounded I was!

What am amazing GP you have!!! Op, any GP who medicates on TSH alone has no clue….proper thyroid testing includes both free T4 and T3 levels , not everyone gets well on levo but the NHS is really poor with thyroid management and trying to get a T3 medication can be like trying to get blood out of a stone.

@Justgonefishing I honestly nearly fell over
These are the bloods he's requested. He's also sent me for a scan after years of complaining about my periods to my old GP and it looks like I have severe endometriosis...
