Does anyone else live with Makka Pakka?

Just stones. Everywhere bloody stones. We've got beach stones, playground stones, random stones, painted stones, carved stones, stones shaped like food, heart stones, and stones that are actually bits of grit, brick, pottery or god knows what. They're in the washing machine, on the floor, in every pocket of every garment worn by the dc. Occasionally they have company in the form of sticks, plastic, random metal shapes, and bloody Tesco tokens. Why are children such Magpies?

Make a stone rockery outside the kitchen window where all stones must live.

The dc can design it themselves but stones have to live there!

Might help! We had shells in ours too - it actually looked quite pretty as I dotted some plants in it.

I still collect stones, i picked up a particularly nice red one at the weekend. I also have a large collection of sea glass.

I am makka pakka. Collecting stones is normal and good. Your kids might turn out to be geologists. I did. Stones were the first clue.
If pushed, you can accumulate them in the garden. But they’re all special.

There's a lovely YouTube video about the best ways to release stones into the wild, and which ones can survive out there and which have to stay in captivity. It's so sweet!
