I've just been systematically going through combinations of one and two letters.
Started on three letter combinations. It doesn't start with A (at least up to three letters long, I think I've tried them all)

Not found it yet, I have these. I'm wondering if my systematic approach is flawed if 997 is a short word as I haven't got that yet.

Yes, has several meanings, but it's 766 spelt out in full, if that makes sense.

It's still my highest word, but in now also have 992 and 990 which don't fit the others at all!

I’ve worked through all the two letter scrabble words, a lot of them were reds, some it didn’t know, a few were cold
