We have bought two additional Taylor Swift tickets through AXL in a moment of madness (pressure decision!)

If we need to sell/transfer these tickets is this easily possible? Probably looking to transfer to a friend mo

Yes Album pre sale. The seats we don't want are at Wembley

I’m looking for Edinburgh tickets so would happily buy these from you if available

Adding to the echoes of 'ill buy them off u!'

I’ve got 2 x PL1 seats for Edinburgh Sunday I don’t need as my mum also got some. Does anyone know how you can go about selling them? I can’t see a transfer or sell option on AXS, will it become available?

howdoyousolvethisproblem · 18/07/2023 17:20

Just a heads up that ticket master are calling this a lead booker event
https://help.ticketmaster.co.uk/hc/en-us/articles/360001622297-Lead-Booker-Events

So it might not be so easy to sell on tickets

TheFlis12345 · 18/07/2023 17:29

That’s ridiculous. There was no mention of being a lead booker event when we booked! And I can’t see anything on AXS.

JustLurkingAway · 18/07/2023 17:29

Yep, apparently they added it to the lead booker events page yesterday, after many people had already bought via presale!

Jigslaw · 18/07/2023 17:31

I highly suspect transfer and official resale will be activated before the tour, possibly not for a while though. As long as you buy and sell through official channels when available it'll be fine.

Itwasrare · 20/07/2023 18:57

So many people now “bought more than they needed”, which is why many people who couldn’t afford VIP have nothing at all…

DueyCheatemAndHow · 20/07/2023 19:12

We bought AXS tickets on ebay this morning only for the seller to cancel after 2 hours. It makes me so sad to see people with more than they need. I'm so gutted.

They'll be some available nearer the time I bet, outlets like twickets and ticketmaster resellers can only charge face value plus a small percentage and you're more or less guaranteed that they aren't scams. It's worth also checking emails periodically if you did register as what they've done in Amsterdam for example is done a general sale for VIP tickets that didn't sell that they downgraded to regular priced tickets.

Jigslaw · 20/07/2023 20:31

VIP is scandalous as well, still a fair amount left because they're an absolute rip off. Hospitality at anfield for a really decent ticket, food, drinks access to lounge is half the price ffs.

Itwasrare · 20/07/2023 23:07

@Jigslaw i was told above that would never happen!

I can see why Wembley might get away with it (already lots of Americans planning the trip) or maybe Paris but I’m not sure £660+ will sell out all over the U.K. and Europe no matter how long they leave it. Some of the seats eg at anfield are not even the good ones for that price

It’ll be eBay that cancelled it, you can’t sell event tickets on eBay.

Wait till closer to the time, nobody even has tickets yet, they still say pending, too easy to get scammed this far out.

The whole lead Booker - tickets can’t ge transferred or sold isn’t IMO enforceable because they added it after selling tickets, I think they’ll do what Ed sheeran concerts do and allow official transfers and sales on their sites.

They've done it for Amsterdam and maybe some more European dates so I don't see why it wouldn't happen here. They tried their luck with VIP and then converted those seats back to regular price and did an additional sale, I'd be surprised if they didn't do similar here to ensure it sells out. She is evidently going for the highest grossing tour, as much as I like her music I think it's pretty disgusting to be honest.

Itwasrare · 21/07/2023 10:37

I agree with you @Jigslaw although while she is busy touring I do wonder how much is the promoter and her personally— can’t believe she personally has oversight of every price and category. Promoter will take a big chunk too

This

Gutting

I only got my code this week and the only seats are £600+.

I bet it's the same people who panic buy bog roll

Same here - - have 2 extra for Edinburgh on Saturday. Ticket master resale opens 1st aug!

Itwasrare · 30/07/2023 17:12

Still so annoyed about this. I know people who had both presale and codes who got 8. I’ve still had no official opportunity to buy despite attending rep tour, buying merch etc and daughter listens to nothing else. it’s crazy.

KenAdams · 30/07/2023 17:23

Weird that everyone bought more "by accident" and not on purpose to sell them on at a profit isn't it?

Not really. If you knew how the presale tickets were released that might help….

night 1 was released at 11am, night 2 at 1pm and night 3 at 3pm. I already had a hotel booked for night 3 but didn’t want to risk skipping the first 2 sales incase I got nothing for night 3 and missed any chance of going and figured I’d just sort accommodation later. This seems really common with everyone I spoke to….bought the first tickets they could just incase there were no other opportunities.

I’ll be selling mine via ticket master resale for face value or less. With over £40 in fees from when I purchased them I will be OUT of pocket, not in profit. Ticket master does not allow you to sell for profit through them

JustLurkingAway · 30/07/2023 18:48

Agree with the above tbh, I bought 2 sets of 2, the first were a date that was a bit more awkward for me than the 2nd, but didn't want to risk not getting any at all. So I'll be selling the 2 I don't need to a friend at less than face value!

christmastreefarm · 30/07/2023 18:54

Agree. My DD wanted night 3 August but didn't want to risk leaving it until the last sale. So we also have a spare for an earlier ticket. Sold to someone I know at face value.
