I live 10 miles from Download and we were in our garden listening to Metallica, the sound system must be amazing!

From what I’ve read i don’t think any of them get on with Axl. They’re there for the money and they tolerate him because they can’t do it without him.

Axl is apparently very difficult for anyone to get on with 😂

The band must be interacting ok. They’ve been touring again for what, 5/6 years now (this last, current tour). Where they turn up on time, and perform for 3.5/4 hrs (so it’s no bloody wonder Axl’s voice is a bit shonky!)
They’re probably just a bit bored of each other!

Yes, they're all absolutely tolerating Axl. Axl seems very much on his best behaviour and is keeping interaction with Duff and Slash to a minimum.

Hammersmith must have been something special. The following year DS2 was born days before Donington and I was so cross we couldn’t go. DD lives near there now and listened to a lot of Download from their bedroom window!

One year I saw them Joey jordison from slipknot had to replace Lars for some reason and another time the guy from Korn replaced James! So I've only seen the real line up once
