Been sacked

today I had my probation meeting at work it wasn’t great and then at the end of the day one of the managers called me into the office to let me know I’ve been dismissed and haven’t passed the probation period.
They offered to give me a good reference for when I need one and wished me luck for the future but I don’t know where to go from here. I’ll have to give my baby daughters nursery notice and apply for something else but I feel so lost now. I don’t have many qualifications.
If you’ve been sacked were you bothered? Did you get another job rather quickly?

I was let go after my probationary period. They didn't really think about what skills they needed and subsequently employed me. Turns out my boss was pregnant! I didn't have the skills they needed to step up and cover her maternity leave, so they wanted me out ASAP to get someone else in.

Op, this is just a tiny little blip on the radar of your life, and it is absolutely not a reflection of your intelligence and all the great things you have to offer. It wasn't a good fit, and that's all.
