Hello, my DH is going to visit an old friend in Glasgow at the weekend so DS (12) and I are going along too but need to find stuff for us to do on the Saturday while DH has plans. I've had a quick Google and the Science Centre looks like it could be a good option and I think DS would enjoy this. Does anyone have any other ideas? We are flying so won't have a car. We come back Monday morning. Any tips welcome! Never been before so no clue. thanks

If you both like football then the title party would be an amazing watch! Hampden Park have a tour.

OP. The weather is looking good for the weekend. Don’t stay in Glasgow if the weather is glorious. Just jump on the train to Largs and get the ferry over to Millport. Hire bikes and cycle around the island (flat 10 miles) and get something to eat in Millport or back to Largs for some fish and chips. You won’t regret it.

Kelvingrove is a must and is FREE. The ancient egypt and wildlife exhibits are wonderful. You can take the subway fairly cheap and I also recommend the transport museum.

West end has some great places for lunch too.
