So I thought it maybe a good idea to have a thread where anyone can rant about their day.
Anything big or small.Get it off your chest.
I'm starting off by saying.Arrrgh.
What a day with my 2 toxic colleagues.
Whispering and gossiping away after we had a team meeti g about getting along v recently.
The job and hours would be perfect if it wasn't for them.
I've never experienced the like of it

I still have a sore backside from cycling yesterday

Such a first world problem but I've ran out of hummus

I have a pain in my ears listening to my mum bleating on about my sil's visit. I do not speak to the woman and have said countless time I do not care yet I get blow by blow account of what she said and did etc each and every time she visits. Im still sitting here with earphones in umming and ahhing and not listening.

My leg still huuuuuuurts. It’s been months now.

Fucking migraines. I try not to dwell on what my life could have been without frequent attacks but still....

My mil is here for a few days. She's not a bad one really and in many ways I lik her. But she is very set in her ways and I think neurodivergent. So it's a lot. I also have tons of work on at the moment with my freelance stuff. So I'm frazzled

Ugh, I feel you OP, I also have an annoying colleague.

They've been complaining about the nature of their job which is an isolated, remote WFH role with a tiny team of 3 people and always will be. They basically want to work in a warm fuzzy office where everyone talks about their day and gels together, and they are moaning that as their manager I can't provide that for them. It's just not possible with what the job is!

They've put in their yearly appraisal form which my manager will see that they feel they are 'being annoying for being vocal about the style of working which suits them best' and I'm worried will think I'm not trying to nurture her and give her what she needs.

I've made multiple efforts to foster connection in the team but you can only do so much with a team of 3 people especially when our other colleague is not too bothered.

Just find a different job that suits you better ffs!

I want to apply for an internal transfer, perfect role…our company promotes this…but I’m so SCARED…ffs, get my big girl pants on. What’s the worst that can happen. If I don’t get the role I stay where I am. But, scared!
