Why doesn't he just tell the museum bosses about the clock? Surely it would make life a lot easier for all involved if he just came clean. (Youngest DS off school poorly, not my usual choice of daytime TV)

He knows they would try to monetise it and he is too pure of spirit to want that to happen.
