I was just reading something about Kier Starmer having no charisma. I've met him and in person he's much better than he comes across via media.
It got me wondering about what charisma means - in the sense of what specific behaviour leads you to think that person has charisma and how that translates across the media.
So for example, you often hear people say of charismatic politicians that when they are talking to you they lock eyes with you and make you feel like the only person in the world - but that's not something the general populus would feel.
What examples of specific behaviour have you ever seen that makes you think someone is charismatic?
I'm really struggling to think of anything beyond generalities like - self-confidence and very witty.
I'm trying to think of a situation where I can identify behaviour or specific things that were said that lead me to think someone was charismatic on a first meeting and I've got nothing.
Anyone got any thoughts or examples of specific things rather than generalities?
