First child free break in 10 years - where to go?

We have a couple of child free days next month - where could we go?

Needs to be within 2 hours of Leicestershire ideally and stuff to do around there. Nice hotel and decent food.

All ideas welcome.

Assuming you mean uk? Bath, oxford or york are all lovely. lots of history and culture in all of them

what do you like to do? ie if you want to sit round a spa or go for hikes is going to be a very different answer to enjoying castles and board games

Yes sorry the UK. Into shorter walks, not long hikes, like good food and wine, not golfers!

The Wild Rabbit in the Cotswolds is lovely. There are some shortish walks on your doorstep thewildrabbit.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/A4-PDF-Farm-Walks-Map.18.04.21-1.pdf and lots to do nearby.

If budgets can stretch then Lucknam Park or Calcot in the cotswolds are both gorgous

Thanks all. We looked at Champneys but haven't heard good things. We are Vitality members too so get a good discount but thought we might look elsewhere for this break.

I'm being drawn Cotswolds way as well.

Stratford on Avon - we use it as a base to explore the Cotswolds
