Is it just me who thinks the lyrics to Cha Cha Cha are a bit dodgy?

Maybe I just have a dirty mind. It's been described as being about wanting to relax and party after working hard but I feel like there is a bit of a double meaning in there...

"Holding on the drinks with both hands tied on them
And I stay on this seat until I have to climb off it
I am approachin’And this world ain’t making me scared no moreWhen Champagne all over myself I pour
One eye keeps turning crossed too far
And talking is so hard when this different side of me does its part
And this world ain’t making me scared no more
When Champagne all over myself I pour"

Maybe it lost something in translation (or gained something)

Lots of song lyrics have double meanings.

That's the beauty of the song.

I read it as being drunk. Gripping a glass with both hands, pouring it over yourself.

The YouTube translation is very wrong. It's really just about being a stereo typical Finn and drinking yourself into oblivion! For example where it has been translated as being on the chair until you have to climb off, is actually closer to being "so drunk you fall off your chair". Finnish doesn't always translate that well into English, particularly when there was an attempt to get the English translation to fit the song rhythm.

I can't make out the first meaning of those lyrics let alone a double one!

I figured the translation would have taken it far from the actual meaning... but then also, here he is riding a giant pulsating willy?

I agree that lyrics have probably been translated in a stilted way to fit the rhythm and translation doesn't always bring across the nuances of the original.

I thought the part of the dance was a Human Centipede reference. Lol.

I thought the part of the dance was a Human Centipede reference. Lol.

That's exactly what I thought! If it's a big pulsating willy, though, I can get behind that too!

I can't see any meaning in those lyrics apart from the joy of getting drunk.
