Payment via PayPal - thoughts?

I'm selling an item on Facebook marketplace.

Someone has offered to pay now via PayPal and send his son to collect it tomorrow.

I strongly prefer cash on collection, and I'm very aware of scams asking for personal details, but feel this could be ok.

All I would have to give him is my email address and only share house address once I have the money.

Have I got it right? Does that sound safe?

And what would be to stop him claiming he never got the item and getting his money back from PayPal?

Me taking photos of it being collected? I've done it when people have come to collect items on eBay.

But it's a very good point. I will ask for cash.

Cash is better, PayPal always seem to side with the buyer.
