(Sorry, it's long and yes, I have posted before about it.)
Just as the title, really. It's come back after eleven years (was never totally right - post-op infection etc, but it has got worse over the last two years). So, there is scar tissue to deal with too.
You will you know (IYSWIM) what some of the difficulties are, but now it's started to really ache too - that horrible feeling that's not quite a pain, more like period pain but down lower somewhere nearer to my perineum, with a general 'belly ache' too.
I'm sick of it. I've had flexible sigmoidoscopies, defecating proctogram, you name it, just to get this recognised (which it is now - gynae said I didn't have one 🙄). There was an issue with my pelvic floor too which has given them an excuse not to operate, but that's not problem any more.
I have a full-on, stressful job and I really don't need the pain on top of the other problems, but am worried as to how to get help - I really feel like I haven't been believed so far, so have no faith that I will be now.
If you have any thoughts, I'd appreciate hearing them. TIA.
