A poster called @AlanThePig had a fabulous duck pond ( more like a lake 
)in her garden and regaled us with interesting tales of the ducks and visiting geese who inhabited the pond.
I didn't see any posts this year and was wondering if AlanthePig is still on Mumsnet.
