Holiday clothes shopping help

I am going on holiday to Jordan in a few weeks. I am very excited.
I don't have much money to buy new clothes but I really fancy maybe some harem pants - amongst one or two other things, long dresses etc. Trouble is what do you wear on top of harem pants. Any ideas? I am quite tall size 14/16 - just want something nice flowing which doesn't show too much skin.

I'd wear a simple knitted tank top on top. Maybe get a staple linen shirt that can be worn open over the pants or your long dresses?

Linen shirt is a good idea thanks
I don't know if I can rock a knitted tank top anymore - my daughter does though😁

Hi, whilst modern amongst its neighbours, Jordan is still very conservative. I would not wear a tank top.

Casual clothes are fine, I would team up some pants with cotton shirts. Check your cleavage is not too exposed, and cover your shoulders. This approach is culturally sensitive to your surroundings.

Sandals are OK. Though if you are going to Petra I suggest sturdy shoes/trainers.
