Moving from London to Surrey worth it?

Hello, we are selling our property now and quite open to get out of London for more green and outdoor space. We have 2 girls(1,5yrs old). What do you think? Is it worth it? We are looking at Reigate and it seems like they are very nice. Also they have good schools there. Can’t really set my mind. Do you recommend that? How do you feel after you moved outside of London? We live is SW.

Reigate schools are very popular. No guarantee you will be allocated one close by and traffic can be awful. Make sure you have off-road parking. Nice park, green spaces and high street although increasingly chains rather than independents. Would you be commuting?

I personally hate Surrey. Lived there for 15 years. More the type of people there than the place itself. If you think it will suit you then go for it

We moved to reigate and love it.
Pros- lovely place, friendly, indie shops, great park, Everyman cinema, good rail links to London, great primaries.
Cons- housing very expensive! Hard to get into the popular secondary, reigate school. Not very diverse. Lots of private schools!

By the way, we are lefties and it's a right wing council. Quite Tory here. But we found our leftie friends!
