I have a nasty throat infection & not much voice. DH has come home from work ill & gone to bed, which is unheard of. Please cheer me up!

I've just sold stuff out my garage and it was sitting on a pallet.
I'm going to turn it into a bug hotel next weekend with my kids. The eldest spent a solid hour channeling David Attenborough watching a snail yesterday, so I think he's going to really enjoy that.
I'm also £50 up and have reclaimed some space in my garage.

I'm a veteran of many tonsillitises so you have my sympathy. If you can tolerate it, gargling with salt water really can help.

Anyone else?

Sorry you are feeling poorly OP. Get well soon.

The sun is shining and I am off to play tennis with friends this afternoon.

I got my DP £100 compensation today by making a complaint to a company about their service for him.

I have just taken a break - WFH - and been a walk with the dog. It’s mild, and quite sunny and I feel a lot more cheerful. Hope you get better soon.

Hope you feel better soon, OP.

DD had an orthodontist appt this morning and her mouth looks as if she has space without pulling out any more teeth. We've somehow managed to get NHS treatment too!

Walking home there was the most enormous splat of seagull poo about 6 inches in front of us. There was just a little splash onto my jacket (now washed). It was vast!

I’ve just been to the cinema alone for the first time and it was amazing 🤣
