Hey anyone up? Just escaped an abusive relationship and this is my first time on my own in a strange house feeling a bit freaked out. Some noises woke me up and I just wanted to chat a while, anyone there?

I'm here and I hear you.

Well done for getting out! The only way is up from now. You have to be strong.
YOU WILL SURVIVE!

I did it, and I DID survive. (Gloria Gaynor's song is great in times of doubt).

My son has thrived not living with an abusive man. God forbid he would pick up those traits....

You can do it. And continue reaching out.

Yes well done! Lock your door and try to get some sleep. You'll need it but really good for you 👏

Hi! I did this, years ago.
It was the best thing ever.
Brilliant not to be constantly afraid.
Well done!

Mine wanted 50/50 but he only got weekends.
He soon got fed up with the children.
It was all talk.

You did, well done you! 🙌🏼

I'm currently planning my breakaway, my day will come too.

Put some music on your phone as background noise and comfort yourself to sleep with the thought that today is the first day of the rest of your life ❤️

Thankyou everyone, it's been a bad night up with anxiety but I think it will all calm eventually once life is a little more sorted. It all feels a bit terrifying at the moment and it's a struggle
