Off for a night away with DH this weekend for wedding anniversary... DC free (hurrah!)
Only have about 24 hours and have hotel booked near the station. Plan is a few tinnies on the train, check in to hotel, check in properly to the hotel (ahem), then head out for an afternoon / evening of drinks, food, and not having to be home by 11.30 because of the babysitter.
Where should we go for drinks and a meal pls? Don't have to be the same place (actually 2-3 venues would be ideal). We'd like something a bit luxurious but with a good fun atmosphere. Ideally not chains but don't mind a small chain like Tattu.
