Things to do near Legoland?

Going to Legoland soon with my 9yr old - massive Lego fan. We live a few hours away so I’ve booked a hotel for 2 nights nearby to give us a long day at Legoland.

So we’ll have the day before to travel there, will leave 8ish, arriving in the Slough/Windsor area by 11am.

And we’ll have the day after, 3 hours trip back home so don’t want to be out anywhere too late.

Was thinking of visiting Windsor Castle on one of those days, but is there anywhere else around that area suitable for a 9yr old? We’re travelling from East Anglia so anywhere around the north or north west of London would be great.

We’ve already done Harry Potter Studios and would love to go again, but it’s booked up for the dates we’re going!

Thanks

We went to the RAF museum at Hendon recently. Was very good. Loads of planes if you are interested in that sort thing. It's free apart from parking so there were loads of families there.

Coral Reef swimming pool in Bracknell? Has some good slides.

I was going to suggest coral reef too. I took mine there recently (age 9 and 12) and they loved it

Coral Reef is good but the slides are only on at weekends school hols and after school so depends when you will be there
