Just stayed up all night reading this book. Brilliant .
It reminds me of being a young child in the 70s and parents often pursued their own interests at the expense of the children's desires, wants and well-being. Her father wanted an adventure at all costs it seems, and what an adventure they had!
Do we do too much for our kids now and have swung so far the other way and become 'paralysed' by what they want? Anyone read, what did you think?
