Can someone talk me through how to sell on vinted? My over tired mum brain feels stressed just thinking about it but at the same time I have so many clothes I will never wear again and could do with the money.

Please help...

It’s pretty user friendly. Download the app, set up an account. There’s a section to sell. I take photos of my item flat, front and back and the label, if it’s still got is shop paper tag I photo that to show its new with tags. Then the app takes you through the whole upload.

Buyer pays for postage but you can select which type e.g. yodel or Royal Mail etc.

It lets you know if people have favourited your item and it’s popular and then hopefully someone buys it.

Thank you so much!

When it comes to posting it is that easy too?

Yup different to posting any parcel. I use yodel as my corner shop does it and they just scan the QR code Vinted provide and print the address and send it away. Only thing you need for it is packaging. I either save old packaging or if you have a lot to sell buy like a pack of 50 clothing postal bags off eBay/Amazon.

do look at postage options and only offer those which are convenient for you. I’ve got Evri nearby but InPost is further away so less convenient.

also, prices are fairly low even for quality items. Postage adds a couple of quid for the buyer. That said, it does add up.

Following with interest. How do you know how much to ask? Is there a better site on which to sell clothes I don't need? Most of those I want to dispose of were bought for special occasions and worn only once. Probably a bit middle-aged looking 🙁

It’s an absolute doddle, take clear photos, write a short description. Specify if it’s a smoke free and pet free home. I use the evri option as there’s a shop about 50 metres away from my house, I print the labels there (they are generated automatically as soon as the buyer pays, you will get sent a qr code to scan and it prints out the shopping label).
one thing I would say is that I price everything for either 5,10 or 15 pounds. Just easier. It goes quickly as other sellers are pricing similar items from the same brand for twice the price, I don’t care so much about the money - I just want stuff gone. I’ve made about £300 in the last few weeks because I photograph clearly and sell cheap.

Hello, aware this is an old thread but looking for advice as I am in the same boat! How do I create a shipping label without giving the buyer my address? Thanks!
