Hi everyone! I just wondered if there are any eateries at/very near to terminal three available to access before going through to the main airport/checking in? TIA x

There is a shop and coffee place that does food. However it’s a short walk to T1 arrivals which has restaurants, pret, greggs etc. you could just go there first.
Or look at one of the airport hotels.

Isn’t this through security though, they are asking about before security

ellaballoo · 13/05/2023 18:47

Oh sorry , yes it is .
I think you would have to go to arrivals .

Terminal 3 is an absolute dive. Overcrowded, no half decent food options.

There’s an okay Indian “street food” place at arrivals next to the kfc.

ThankmelaterOkay · 13/05/2023 18:51

Sorry, just re-read. Yeah arrivals is about 14 miles away from Terminal 3.

needsomefuninthesun · 13/05/2023 19:28

Haha I walk between them regularly it’s not far at all

ThankmelaterOkay · 13/05/2023 21:18

Sorry I meant terminal 2 arrivals. Didn’t realise each terminal had a separate arrivals.

It is pretty far from T3 departures to T2 arrivals, a solid quick paced 10 minutes. We wanted to go to Wagamamas/Barburito when we went but these are both T2 departures. The Indian place is called Wrapchic, thought it was okay actually.

Didn’t realise we had other options, ie Pret, at other arrivals! Still, we had an hour to kill, so the walk didn’t bother us!

@HairyFarnbarn thank you. Would you say it's do-able with a four year old!? How far is it would you say? X

It’s 5mins maybe? There is a covered walkway over the outside and an elevator. It’s very easy, it can be busy with people but no reason a child couldn’t do it.

HairyFarnbarn · 13/05/2023 21:56

T2 is further but 1 and 2 are adjacent

HairyFarnbarn · 13/05/2023 22:00

Argh T1 and 3 are adjacent I meant

needsomefuninthesun · 14/05/2023 18:56

@HairyFarnbarn thank you very much! Xx
