Does anyone here (or their DC) have a Leap Day birthday?

I'm currently TTC (and overthinking Grin) so I worked out that if I fall pregnant in my next cycle my due date would be the end of February 2024, and next year is a leap year so I would have the chance of DC having a leap day birthday.

I'm interested what it's like for anyone born on 29th Feb, has it been something positive in your life or negative? Is it a super special birth date or a pain in the arse not having a 'real' birthday every year?

It's an excuse to celebrate over 2 days in this house.

My now 19 in real years is a leap year baby. She hates it and loves it! Feels cheated but loves the special attention it always gets!

She celebrates on 28 Feb, we tried 1 march but it felt very wrong! And then on her actual bday we go big and make it very special.

There is a leapling movement in the US. DD first tattoo is going to be a Frog.

For me it was annoying only for some online forms when the 29 Feb was not a thing! But haven't had one of those for ages.

Me! I celebrate on the 28th and the 1st, and then every 4 years I go all out. But I do love any excuse for a party.

Ooh that’s a good idea celebrating on both days! Looks like I am out for this cycle so bring on the potential leap day baby 😬
