I know it’s supposed to be sunny and 20 degrees tomorrow, but oh my it’s freeeezing tonight.

Went for a few drinks with a friend and I was honestly shivering waiting for the bus home. Felt like a night in November, not mid-May.

Anyone else agree?!

I don't think it's been too bad. Roll on tomorrow for that warmth though!

@Plump82 well my weather app did say it was 10 degrees, but I just felt a lot colder! Maybe it was the wind!

Maybe it is different in different parts of the country ?
I thought it was quite warm when I was outside about 9pm (Midlands)

It's bloody freezing, the wind is awful out there now, how anyone can describe it as quite warm I'll never know! We've had the heating back on this evening. SE here

Completely agree, am in Herts and needed my big coat tonight!! Bloody freezing! My friends all agreed it felt like November.

Lovely day today here in the NW but yes, a really chilly evening, we've had the heating on.

I was freezing walking the dog (in north Herts) at 6pm, I had a fleece-lined jacket but the wind was bitter. The temperature was 10 degrees according to the car, but it felt a lot colder.

warmer’ turned on the seat in the car when I went out this evening. Where is our random week of boiling weather early on? Hasn’t happened this year.

Yeah, I'm in the SE & I was cold this afternoon. I was tempted to put the heating on, just to feel cosy, but it hasn't been on in weeks & I couldn't be arsed going around the house making sure nothing had been pushed against the rads that shouldn't have been. So I grabbed a blanket instead.

I'm west of Scotland. To be fair all it takes is a bit of sunshine and my house is roasting so that'd maybe why I haven't felt it so much.

I took my teen to cricket training. He likes me to watch him but I sneaked into the clubhouse and got a hot coffee. It was freezing outside even with my coat on.

I've just woken up after having a nightmare and then had a full blown panic attack because I'm so hot. I've opened the window! No heating on and I've had my thin summer duvet on for months

Just looked at the forecast. I'm in London. 19 degrees tomorrow. 21 Sunday. Then 13 degrees and rain Monday. Fucking great.

Yes! I'm in the SE. Thought momentarily about putting the heating on but resorted to electric blanket and oodie instead. It's been bitter today in that wind. I was at work today (school) talking about this year's SATS. My son did his last year and it was extremely warm. Gutted for mid May, not least for my newly seeded garden which washed away in the storms 😫

SE and needed my big dog walking coat this afternoon and heating this evening. We've got an old system without a thermostat so no idea what the temp alas but needed.

And now im in bed and can't sleep because

There's a Northerly wind out there which is why it's cold.

Agree that it's been freezing at night (although was sunny/warm today). I've resorted to a faux fur throw on the sofa and winter pjs/hot water bottle/fleece blanket on the bed. DH, however, is sleeping in a t-shirt and has discarded his side of the (13.5 tog) duvet. SW Wales.
