Every now and again my DH gets what's he describes as a junk in the back of his throat. He has got it tonight and says it makes swollowing harder. What could be causing this? I've given him a clarifiten incase it's hay fever but I'm not sure if it is

Hay fever does this to me- it just feels like my throat is coated and I can’t swallow it. Tree pollen is bad just now. Hopefully an antihistamine will help him.

Could be lots of things, the most benign could be tonsil stones. If it continues though he should get it checked out.

I think it might be hay fever. My daughter suffers from it too and hers is acting up. I'll keep reminding him to take antihistamine to help

Google post-nasal drip. Sounds grimmer than it is. I have it - it’s worse during the summer for me.
