Post interview excitement/nerves

I've just had a job interview that went really well!! I'm a bag of nervous excitement though (have just eaten three bags of crisps and two peanut butter cups)

The company has given me some follow-up tasks which I am confident I am capable of (think website copy sort of stuff) and part of me wants to get on it right now. But I'm still shaking to be honest and think it might be better to calm down, have a glass of wine, sleep on it, and attempt the tasks with a fresh head tomorrow. But do you think I should capitalise on my current nervous excitement and try and get something down - a rough draft - on paper before the kids come out of school (clubs, so have a couple of hours). Do you do your best work when a you're little bit wired?

(Note: clearly I'm looking for permission to just lie down and decompress, but don't let that sway you...Wink)

I'd want to get thoughts down now, you'll possibly feel more in tune with the company and their tone of voice etc? Also I would much rather get most of it done during working hours than on the weekend when kids around.
