I was informed by my phone provider that my phone was Spoofed. I'd never heard of this before but have been told it would be best to change my number.
I'm not 100% sure on the ins and outs of this but I have been told it would be best to change number, I'm due an upgrade anyway so it's possible to change my number but does this mean I loose everything from my old phone if I change number? You know when you transfer all the stuff from your old phone?
Is it better to start off new and not transfer anything? My phone provider said it could have been a link I clicked or a call I answered.
Does it mean I need to change all accounts related to my phone, ie Google accounts, email etc?
Would appreciate any info on best way to move forward
