How to find a cleaner

Significant health problems mean that I’m looking to get a cleaner but I don’t where to start. I’m not on Facebook or anything so have no access to finding one via that route. My health means I’m very isolated and don’t really have any social network in which to ask around for recommendations. I’m wondering about using an agency but are they any good? Has anyone used one?

See if there’s a local Reddit board/subreddit for your area — that’s how I found mine. Asked for recommendations from locals.

The problem with asking for recommendations on NextDoor, Reddit, etc is that every single person is going to either offer themselves or recommend their mum/sister/wife/best friend and you will never get a professional person to do the job. I got fed up with asking recommendations on those places.

The best things is to google cleaning agencies in your area. I don't know where you are but Fantastic Services operate in London and the SE.

You can hire people locally and flexibly for everyday household tasks at Easer app. Apple app store - rb.gy/4y5jc
Google play store - rb.gy/9pftc

I know what it's like to be stuck at home with health issues, I was for nearly two years. I know you don't know me but if you wanted to give me the name of your nearest town I'd be happy to do a bit of research for you but I won't be offended if you want to maintain your privacy.

Don't use a company I used to work for one as an independent contractor they paid me nmw they charged around £40 per hour it was a scam really because I needed to pay out for my own insurance which meant I was making LESS than nmw
