Working Part Time & Bank Holidays

I work around 20 hours a week & always have Mondays off. Should my company be compensating me for missing out on Bank Holidays?

Your annual leave entitlement as a minimum should 5.6 weeks pro rata (this includes bank holidays)
As you don't work on a Monday you won't have to use holiday for bank holidays so you're already 'compensated'
If full time employees get more holiday than the statutory minimum you're entitled to a pro rata amount.

What's your annual leave?

It may have been calculated already to include bank holiday provision.

But yes, you are entitled to a pro rata of bank holidays.

Depends what is in your contract. Whether your holiday entitlement includes BH or not.

If it doesn't include BH then you should get a prorated amount of time in respect of BH.

I am one day a week. When full time I got say 27 days plus 8 days bank holidays. So 35 days.

At one day a week I get 1/5 -so 7 days.

I do not work Mondays so nothing happens on a normal bank holiday.

This year, for the coronation I asked for my extra 1/5 of a day -which I can use another time (I asked as I more wanted to remind work to add it for the couple of people who work half the week)
