Fuck off to period pain. I’m fucking 46 and this is the 2nd bastard night in a row I’m taking Ibuprofen, having the dits and clutching a hot water bottle to my womb.
oh yes and because I’m old my cycles are getting faster so I get to enjoy these even more frequently. Whoop-de-do.

I can sympathise. I really struggle with anti inflammatory meds. Been considering whether to buy a Myoovi or similar to get me through my 7 days of hideousness.

As treacle has said, buscopan has been a lifesaver for me with my bad periods. Hot water bottle front and back, keep your fluids level up too ❤️ I also find having fluffy cosy socks on helps massively ❤️

bog standard supermarket magnesium supplement works better for me than ibuprofen for pain and cramps.
