Matilda musical - best seats

Could anyone who has been please advise? I definitely want to sit in the stalls on the central aisle because of the cast passing by during Act one. Looking on the ‘A view from my seat’ I was thinking maybe around row J so we’re not too near the front so my son isn’t looking up. I know the seats are on a rake but I’m not sure how much.

But would being a bit closer to the front be better? I’m thinking of the swing scene which might be better from closer to the front.

We were a few rows back and just under the swings - it was great! It didn't feel like we were having to look up, and they had seat boosters for kids if they needed it.

Oh that sounds good. There’s aisle seats on row E available, further forward is sold out. I might get them, I was worried we would be craning our necks.

I think we were probably further forward than row E, and we definitely didn't feel like we were craning our necks 🙂.

I hope you have a brilliant time - we all loved it.

We were row D seats 14-17 and it was amazing, we were really close without having to look up.

And my daughter caught the paper aeroplane!

We sat in row H of the stalls - and everyone had a great view. Kids were 6 and 8 so still quite small but could see perfectly.

Thank you all, I can relax a bit now knowing we’ll have a good view. I can’t wait.

I sat in row C and no craning at all. It’s a brilliant show, you’ll love it!
